Knitting in the Round
You’ve learned to knit and purl and you’ve finished the Intro to Knit class. Lets take it to the next level and learn to knit in the round. This is a 2 part class. Each session is 1 hour and is a good way to get you started knitting in the round.
Hat
Finished Project: Waffle knit hat
Skills you should know: knit and purl, casting on
Skills you will gain: Session 1 : knitting in the round on circular or double point needles Session 2: crown decreases for a hat using DPNs
Supplies: One skein of worsted weight yarn, We recommend Berroco Ultra Wool or a similar wool or wool blend yarn for warmth. US 5 and US 7 circular needles: one each size in 16” or 24" cord length. US 7 DPNs for Class 2 to finish the hat. Several stitch markers, and a tapestry needle.
At least one skein must be purchased from Fox River Fibers. Alll supplies purchased for the class will be 10% off. Printed and electronic pattern will be provided. Pattern is free on Ravelry.Instructor: Sue

Mittens
Finished Project: One pair of mittens
Skills Needed: Knit, purl, simple increase/decrease,
Skills you will gain: Session 1: cast on, knit cuff and thumb gusset Session 2: Continue hand and thumb
Supplies: 90-200 yards worsted weight wool yarn (we recommend wool or a wool blend such as Ultra Wool or Urth Uneek for warmth.) Needles size US 5 and US 7, either dpns or 2 16” circs or you may do magic loop if you wish. Several small stitch markers, tapestry needle, small scissors This pattern has multiple sizes and multiple yarn weights, but for this class we will work at worsted weight for simplicity and time.
At least 1 skein of class yarn must be purchased from Fox River Fibers. All supplies purchased for the class will be 10% off. Printed and electronic pattern will be provided.

We process orders for shipping Monday, Wednesday and Friday and they
will ship within 1-2 days of being placed. Most orders will ship USPS
unless expedited shipping is paid for at time of order. International
orders will ship via DHL. Standard USPS shipping is free on domestic
orders over $75, expedited shipping may be purchased at checkout.

In-store pick-up orders should be ready for pick-up the day the store
is open after you place it. You will receive a confirmation email when
it has shipped or is ready for pickup. If you wish to pick-up an order
in store sooner, please call the store.
If there is a problem with your order, please contact us at the email below and we will be happy to take care of it for you.
Items may be returned for in-store credit or exchange. Returns must
be in original condition as sold - unused with all labels and packaging
intact and undamaged. Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by
since your purchase, we unfortunately can’t offer you an in-store credit
or exchange – it’s yours, enjoy! Orders shipped internationally cannot
be returned. Books, patterns, needles, notions, kits, sale items,
discontinued items and wound yarn are not returnable.
