Granny Squares for Knitters
Can you knit but you don’t really crochet much if at all? Would you like to make one of those sweaters that are mostly knit but have Granny Squares too? If all you want to learn is how to crochet a Granny Square, this class is for you!
Finished Project:
Crocheted one color or multi color basic Granny Square or squares. We will also show you how to join them and pick up stitches to begin knitting from them.
Skills Needed:
This class is for knitters, but you should be familiar with how to do a basic chain stitch with a crochet hook. Don’t worry if you’ve never crocheted before!
Skills you will gain:
Chaining into a circle, counting chain stitches, creating a double crochet stitch and crocheted clusters, turning corners with crochet, reading a crochet chart.
Supplies:
You will need some DK (3) or worsted weight (4) yarn in at least two to three colors, small amounts are fine, and one crochet hook in size F for DK yarn and G or H for worsted weight, plus a small scissors and a tapestry needle. A medium to large locking stitch marker may be helpful.
At least 1 skein of class yarn must be purchased from Fox River Fibers. All supplies purchased for the class will be 10% off. Printed and electronic pattern will be provided.

is open after you place it. You will receive a confirmation email when
it has shipped or is ready for pickup. If you wish to pick-up an order
in store sooner, please call the store.

Items may be returned for in-store credit or exchange. Returns must
be in original condition as sold - unused with all labels and packaging
intact and undamaged. Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by
since your purchase, we unfortunately can’t offer you an in-store credit
or exchange – it’s yours, enjoy! Orders shipped internationally cannot
be returned. Books, patterns, needles, notions, kits, sale items,
discontinued items and wound yarn are not returnable.
