Mashup Spinning
This is an Intermediate class- You know how to spin and are comfortable spinning a consistent single with your wheel or spindle. This class will add on to your technique and knowledge
Do you buy single braids of fiber everywhere you go? Are you interested in spinning for bigger projects? Would you like to play with color? This is the perfect class for you. In this spinning class we’re going to take two drastically different braids of fiber and get a beautiful finished yarn to knit or crochet with. We’ll talk a bit about colors and combining to get the look you want, planning your spin and sampling. This class format will be sitting around a circle spinning.
Finished Project: Finished sample skein of about 2 oz.
Skills Needed: How to spin consistently on your wheel or drop spindle
Skills you will gain: How to mashup spin (also called combo spin) also planning bigger projects and sampling
Supplies: Your spinning wheel or drop spindle, Pen and Paper, orifice hook, 3x5 cards, wheel oil etc. If you have a WIP tool and a spin control card those are nice tools to bring as well.
Included in the class price is fiber we’ll be spinning together.
If you’d like you can bring fiber from home and we can brainstorm how to mash it up and even help you pick another braid to combine it with.

We process orders for shipping Monday, Wednesday and Friday and they
will ship within 1-2 days of being placed. Most orders will ship USPS
unless expedited shipping is paid for at time of order. International
orders will ship via DHL. Standard USPS shipping is free on domestic
orders over $75, expedited shipping may be purchased at checkout.

In-store pick-up orders should be ready for pick-up the day the store
is open after you place it. You will receive a confirmation email when
it has shipped or is ready for pickup. If you wish to pick-up an order
in store sooner, please call the store.

Items may be returned for in-store credit or exchange. Returns must
be in original condition as sold - unused with all labels and packaging
intact and undamaged. Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by
since your purchase, we unfortunately can’t offer you an in-store credit
or exchange – it’s yours, enjoy! Orders shipped internationally cannot
be returned. Books, patterns, needles, notions, kits, sale items,
discontinued items and wound yarn are not returnable.
